I wrote this when i was healing from alot of stuff and coming out of depression.  Hopefully it helps at least one person feel a little less alone.  Because you are never alone.  God is always there.. and i'm here too if anyone needs me.  Love you guys! :)

"No Longer Alone"

Misunderstood in so many ways. No one seems to understand the pain. The regret, the guilt, it’s all inside. Can’t show anyone, so you try to hide. Feel like a failure, a shame to all. Disgraceful and dirty, you scream as you fall. Don’t know how it happened. How everything changed. but you’re not yourself anymore. Nothing’s the same.

The pain the guilt, you take it out on yourself. You watch the arm bleed. Return the knife to the shelf. It must be a problem, a problem within. So you pick up the knife and you do it again. Look in the mirror, the stranger’s not you. How did you end up here? Could it be true? There you are. Everything you swore you’d never be. Call out for help. Fall to your knees. What an ugly mistake. You knows God’s displeased. But could there be love? Enough in his heart? To grant you forgiveness to make a new start?

Not only found love, but mercy and grace. Pick up your head. Lift up your face. Now’s your moment. No better place or time. To tell of his mercy, to let his love shine. Happiness. Freedom. Today’s a new day. Any fearful thoughts, push them away. God is here walking with you. His love will always last. So harness the pain and turn it to strength. Take your mistakes and learn from the past.

Not only forgiveness. Not only his grace. But also his blessings. Puts a smile on my face. He could’ve left me alone, to test my strength. He could’ve said no, to test my faith. And yet, he did something he didn’t have to do. He reached down from heaven and led me to you. Discovery of a friend. In the midst of the storm. Brings a peace to my heart. A feeling that’s warm. Now I don’t have to do it all on my own. No longer misunderstood. No longer alone.
