The withdrawal method won't give any physical side effects that I am aware of, but it is not a very effective method of birth control since pre-ejaculate contains sperm too. If you want to avoid pregnancy I would not rely on the withdrawal method. Of course the only 100% way to avoid pregnancy is not to have sex. Hope this helps.
