help..misscarriage 7-6..possible prego now? 6 years, 8 months ago #3012

Well first off let me introduce myself...I'm 17 yrs old. Graduating this December. Getting married to my sweetheart next July. He's 22. We found out I was 6 weeks 4 days prego early June. Then I had an appointment to hear the heartbeat on July 6 but instead found out my baby died. Nakita my daughter died at 8 weeks 4 days and found out 11 weeks 4 days.....notice the pattern here? Anyways doctors said use bc and protection blah blah blah...well I didn't. It's not that I am purposivly trying to get prego again but my dad is dieing and he wants a grand child.....I can take care of a child and so can my fiance ....Well lately I've been more tired, lil discharge more than usual, heartburn !!! badly, my \"flash\" headaches (comes and goes in 2 secs), and more irritable towards everyone. Well those are the same things I had with my daughter. (FYI never found out sex but always felt like it was a girl). I did this one thing and it said that if I was I could be about 2wks 1day...today . I've taken 3 hpt's all negative. I have 2 tests left, I'm scared that if I am then I'm going to loose this baby too but if I'm not prego I will be crushed even though I know that I need to focuse on grad. High school and my College class that I'm in. Any advice will be great!!! oh by the way my name is Tasheka.

Tasheka,

I am so sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I can understand how you feel like you want to be pregnant again, since you lost your baby. Also I can relate to feeling family pressure for grandchildren. My parents have been not so subtly begging for grandchildren for a while now (but they wiated until I was married before pushing for grandkids.) It is possible to be pregnant a few weeks after a miscarriage. I think that 2 weeks would probably be too early to detect whether you are pregnant or not. I would wait another week or two and take the test again. If you are pregnant, then congratulations! If you are not pregnant, I would focus on trying to finish high school and wait until after your marriage next summer to try to have a baby. I'm not saying not to have a baby if you are pregnant. However, it would be much easier for you, your fiance/future husband, and future children if you are able to focus on graduation and marriage before you have a baby to take care of. Best Wishes.
