The best thing to do is talk with your doctor about it, I only had it once and it was my last pregnancy, it was HORRIBLE and I thought I would never be able to bend my knees or clinch my fists without pain ever again...I have heard that you can watch your salt intake but like I said you need to talk with your doctor about it because some people will get it for different reasons and you don't want to mess around with that stuff by trusting in "old wives tales" or anything like that...LOL....I will be keeping you in my prayers as I would never wish preeclampsia on ANYONE much less you...take care and keep us all informed!!
