1) i've only gained 5 pounds so far

2)i am 18 with my first

3)i told them the next day

4)I just told my mom that i had a doctors appointment next week and she asked why and i said because i am pregnant.

5)I am out of school

6)Well i am 22 weeks and viably showing and having been since about 3 and a half to 4 months

7)I only changed my diet to cut out sugar and caffeine and increase fruit and fiber and protein but i don't really pay attention to calories.

8)Well i knew the first day my period was due and didn't come but didn't take the test til 4 days later to make sure.

9) well me and my boyfriend wanted this child so i didn't really consider it but the thought was there because i wasn't sure we could do it but then i just remembered that i wanted and that i am carrying something that some woman spend thousands of dollars to do.

1. About how much weight did you gain during your pregnancy?
-I gained 56 lbs during my whole pregnancy.

2. How old were you when you first got pregnant?
-I was 15

3. How long did you wait to tell your parents?
-Like 2 weeks

4. How did you break the news to them?
-My mom, during an argument about her B/F; My dad, my mom told him.

5. For those at school, how did you deal wtih everybody staring at you?
-I never had a problem with it. Teen pregnancy was common at my HS.

6. Around what month did you begin to "show"?
-HAHA like 5 weeks into it.

7. Did you have to change your diet at all? Or increase your calories? How often did you work out?
-Yeah I really had to change my diet but that was only b/c I suffered from eating disorder prior. Yeah I walked alot and went swimming when it was warm enough.

8. How long did you have to wait to get a positive test result?
-I tested the day my period was due and it was a positive.

9. Did you ever battle with thoughts of abortion? how did you overcome them?
-I never thought about it. It was my responisbility and I was going to take the reprecussions of my actions like a woman. I put my self in a woman's shoes and I was going to act like one. PLus it was my baby not a fetus but my baby. My flesh and blood.

10. Any other tips or suggestions?
Be happy with your pregnancy and enjoy it. It only lasts 9 months and after it's over you'll miss it. Take it easy, don't stress your body, mind, or spirit out. TAKE CARE OF YOUR BODY AND BABY!!!

1. About how much weight did you gain during your pregnancy? 25 lbs

2. How old were you when you first got pregnant? 14

3. How long did you wait to tell your parents? I was 9 weeks along and found out at 8 weeks. I had suspected it but from the time I was completely positive it was a few days. I just wanted to get it over with.

4. How did you break the news to them? I was too nervous to say anything, so I just gave my mom my three positive tests.

5. For those at school, how did you deal wtih everybody staring at you? It didn't really bother me. Most people were really supportive of my boyfriend and I.

6. Around what month did you begin to "show"? I started at 3 months, but it wasn't noticeable until 5 or 6.

7. Did you have to change your diet at all? Or increase your calories? How often did you work out? I really tried to eat healthy at the beginning and then gave up at the end, ha. I did increase my calorie intake because I was starving all the time. I walked every now and then but honestly, I didn't do much. Going to school was enough.

8. How long did you have to wait to get a positive test result? 5 seconds, lol. I didn't test until 9 weeks. I had missed 2 periods already.

9. Did you ever battle with thoughts of abortion? how did you overcome them? No. I never considered to murder my child. However, adoption came into my train of thought.

10. Any other tips or suggestions? Really, everyone says this, but seriously listen to it! SLEEP! You will really miss sleeping once the little one is here. And just keep God in your life. The challenges of pregnancy are nothing to a newborn baby. It's really, really hard. And I never really knew what anyone meant until it happened. You just gotta be strong.
