Last month my period lasted only 1.5 days and it was light that was the beginning of June---now I was supposed to start on 6-29 and did not. I took a test a week or so ago and the test was positive but I thought the fact that I was freaking out over symptoms like nausea and breast tenderness was causing hormones to go crazy and cause the test result ( that was what my husband suggested anyway ). Any opinions?

Your 2 day period was most likely implantation bleeding. So you need to go the doctors and get it confirmed.
