Well First off, I'm TTC so this just might be wishful thinking on my behalf.

I started spotting on the 12-13th of may:woohoo: , and the i got my \"period\" on the 14th, which was pinkish/brownish, that went on till the 18th then it got heavy, and seemed more like my normal period, but it only stayed heavy for 2 days, then went back to being light till the 23-24th:huh: .

Ive never had a period like that, mine are always heavy for 3-4 days then light, and i always have signs that my period is coming, i got none of them this time.

Now for almost 2 weeks ive had nausea, which comes and goes in waves through out the day, i cant stand the smell of red onion or bacon. Sometime last month ( i cant remember the day) I almost fanited in my kitchen but at the time i put it down to the fact i had the flu.

The nausea has been getting worse the last 3 days.

Last month i swore i was pregnant, i just had this gut feeling, but im not sure if this was because that wouldve been the month i had my baby, if i hadnt of had a misscarriage.

I took a pregnancy test at the start of last month, which was neg. (tho it did have a shadow line!soo annoying:angry: )
and i took another one today, also a neg, but i took it in the afternoon, plus i dont know if this matters but it was just a really cheap no name one.

So I ask the question, can u have a \"period\" like this and still be pregnant?

Im trying to get into see a doctor tomorrow to see whats going on, till then i shall enjoy my gingerale!

Yes. Some girls do get something similar but different from their period when they are pregnant around the time that they would have their period normally. I have heard that it can happen for several months, but that is unusual.

The best time to take a HPT is first thing in the morning (You probably know that, sorry!), and the cheap ones are just that... cheap!

But if you've gone to the Dr you probably know what's going on already. Make sure to tell us the answer!

hey, i was looking at this post and i had a period just like that. it was really weird because mine are like yours and are usually heavy 3-4 days. did you find out if you were pregnant or not? because whatever you found out would be really helpful to me.

Well im not pregnant:angry: , i went and got a blood test to be sure.

Im pretty dissapointed but im hoping it'll happen this month..

I think it was just a weird period, which was probably due to the fact i came off the pill about 4 months ago.. so im guessing my body just hasnt sorted itself out yet. Ive heard that can happen when youve had a baby also, so that might be what happened to you.

I think i have pregnancy signs! lol it's probably all in my head but i'm going to list them anyway, please let me know what you girls think!.

* I have a weird feeling in my stomach, it feels like someone is lightly squeeing my lower stomach.
* Heartburn!! which i barely ever get, but ive been getting it for the last 3days.
*also the odd sharp pain in my lower stomach.
*blocked up nose
*i feel a little wobbly, i bump into walls a lot atm.

I've been taking super b complex and folic acid, could it be because of that? I've never heard of that happening but idk weirder things have happened.
