Im five weeks pregnant and have decided to keep my baby. Im only seventeen so need to keep my pregnancy a secret for as long as possible at work and very importantly sixth form. So could I please have some advice on:

1. How to hide my baby bump?

2. How to get out of drinking alcohol without sounding suspicous?

3. How to get out of sports eg. ice skating?

4. Any other tips to keep my pregnancy a secret?

well first off hiding your pregnancy is a very very bad idea..many things can happen to your baby from hiding so sry but i cant give u advice on concealing a pregnancy.

Agreed, you should never hide a pregnancy, A pregnancy should be looked after by a doctor from the get go, besides what are you afraid of by letting people know? No one can take your baby from you or make you give it up. That is a choice of your own no matter what your age.

Yeah I'm not sure why you want to hide your bump?? People are going to find out anyway and as soon as I found out I told my work (I am fifteen) and they didn't care, they just wanted to know how much longer I would be working there...I guess in some schools they kick you out if you're pregnant, I'm guessing you're in one of those, well that's a tough one. As for drinking and stuff I guess you couldn't just tell your friends because they go to your school and word spreads yadda yadda...I don't know girl!! My grandma hid her pregnancy for nine months in the 50's (she got pregnant with a black man's child) and she did it by wearing baggy sweaters and other clothes but I guess if you wear a certain type of clothes than people would notice either way..? As for sports, skating isn't all that dangerous is it? Well I guess it depends! Wow, I wrote a whoole bunch about nothing and haven't helped you out at all. I am sorry, I just don't think you should hide it, and the only suggestion I can think of is faking an injury (sports) telling people you are waiting till you are legal (drinking) and wearing baggy clothes (school) other than that...I just don't know.

Your right girls but im waiting till im atleast 12 weeks before i tell my friends. The pregnancy isnt a secret from family and close friends.

um honestly probably is best telling your friends also. If they are 'real' friends they will support you. Getting out of the alcohol thing, tell them you dnt feel too well or something, its ur choice if you dnt want any anyways. Hope all goes well!
