Well I am 26 years old I have 3 children. My first child was born 1 month after my 18th birthday and his father was young as well. I supported that child for 2 years and my life took a turn for the worse. I wound up homeless and the child went to live with my mother. My second child was born 2 years later and in an effort to keep my children together i let her share custody of my daughter too. her father and i had split up and were still seeing each other i got pregnant again. I was 24 and had just begun dating a great guy (right before i found out i was pregnant) I was seriously concidering abortion but he convinced me i could make it and raise a baby we were together 3 years he was a great father and conciders all my children his own. Even though he rarely sees his own children. He begged me for 3 years to have his baby and I finally gave in even though I truly did not want anymore children. Well right after i got pregnant the floor tumbled out I found out he was addicted to pain killers we lost our apt and were broke. I left him and dont think i want him back between the jealousy and the fighting and the complete disregard for the safety of our family when he left us homeless i have had enough. Its hard he keeps begging for another chance but i think im done. My problem is now I am seriously concidering abortion. I have never raised a child on my own and concidering the luck with my other children I dont want to lose my son. I know I could take my fob back and he would support the 3 of us but i think i would be really unhappy. Any advise would be appreciated

I'm sorry to hear about this situation. This is a really tough time for you and I'm sorry that you have having to go through this now.

Raising a child on your own is not easy and plenty of girls on this site can tell you that. Even though it is hard it is worth it. I bet that you could not even imagine what your life would be like without one of your little ones.

My friend, there are so many first time mothers that have their child and raise him or her all by themselves. I feel like you have an advantage. You have the mother-thing down. You have been down this road before and you know what to do. I don't think that you are completely stuck on a limb.

Even though you didn't want to have another child, you baby is here now. Your child might be the greatest surprise blessing that you ever have. Sometimes we don't immediately realize the blessing that we have. I think that you should give your child a chance. You have the ability to be a great mother.

i think at times like this we all feel like we cant make it
and we look for the quick way out.. so before we think about it
we act.

i think deep down inside your bf really wants this baby,
y not give him a chance?
well does he want to be with you?
you know that you say he is addicted to pain killers,
maybe having this baby could make him see he has to be a role model
or not, you could help him sort his life out,

honey abortion is never the answer, you know if you abort
you will spend your whole life wondering about that baby.
a mommy will always make a plan for her babies, even if its hard
you will get through it.
