Okay So I had my son on May 7,2007........and my period came back normal 4months after I had him. A month and a half ago I thought I was pregnant But the pregnancy tests came out negative. But then out of no where this month, I didn't get my period. Soo I took a pregnancy test...it came out positive.. I took 7 pregnancy tests and they all came out positive...So{readmore} this morning I went to the hospital by my house, and got a blood test then..and guess what...it came back NEGATIVE..saying i'm not pregnant and the urine test for the hospital came out negative twice.... And i don't understand why. I still havent gotten my period i'm a week and 2days late..And it's never ever been that late before..And I been feeling sick. Like how I did when I found out I was pregnant with my son. The doctor didn't know what to say..He said that I'm going to miss my periods cause i'm young and that the pregnancy tests were not accurate. But I took 2more pregnancy tests after I came out the hospital and they both came out POSITIVE!!!......... I dont know why or how this could be happening....could I even be pregnant ? I even threw up twice....Please comment back to this. I need advice A.S.A.P!



p.s the first 2 pregnancy tests I took were called Facts Plus. And the other 5 were called First Response.

I'd say there's a higher chance the hospital got something wrong and not you.
I'd make them do the whole test thing again....

There are other things that can give a positive test, such as an overian cist or some other quite serious medical conditions...

Overian cists can also cause nautiousness, and stuff with your periods, as well as give positive home tests, but negative blood tests... they arnt that harmfull (i know, mum had one not that long ago), but can become dangerous if left untreated.

Also some medications can effect home pregnancy tests, so if your on any perscription medication, you may want to check the net to see if it interfeers...


theres also a chance that your doctor stuffed up or got your sample mixed up (they mixed up my sample last time i was in the emergency room, i had appendicitus, and they told me to go home cos the tests didnt show anything, consequently we told them to run the tests again, and i had my appendix out the next day, but that irrelivant ) and they may have given you someone elses results by accident or something...


The general gist of this long ramble is you should go back to your doctor, get another set of tests done, and if they still come back negative get them to check for other conditions, or issues with medications.

Wow. That's wierd. I would't know what to say to you. I've never been in that situation and i don't think i wantto be how you are. If the doctors tests came back negative and we all know tat pregnancy tests aren't positive so i would wait a while and maybe try the tests again. But that's just what i would do so maybe it's not right for you but like i said, i've never been there.

Hey, I agree with the other girls maybe the hospital wasn't getting something right, I would try another doctor's office or hospital, then if it came out negative again, its probably just your hormones acting up from the first baby causing the tests to show different things like that, I wish you the best of luck sweety, just keep trying other doctors. xoxox

I had some positive tests so i went to the hospital and they said i wasn't pregnant and 2 weeks later i was back there having a miscarriage so they were wrong and they did a blood test but refused to give me a urine test. And when i went back and was having my miscarriage they said they couldn't even find a record of me being there! They were just trying to cover yourself, i would go to a different hospital or your family dr. b/c you need to see an OBGyn if your pregnant! Good Luck and let us know...
