On December 19th I had an abortion and my due date would have been June 26th. Well that day is coming up sooner than I had wanted it too. And I don't want to sit at home crying on that day, although I know it will happen anyway. How do I take my mind off of it so I'm half sane that day?

you could light a candle or something.
i personally walked along the beach on my due date (20th December 2008), i still cried but i wasnt locking myself away if that makes sense.

i could get fresh air, and think about my baby in the better place she is now.

i know this may not help, but in a way it might- if that makes any sense whatsoever aha.

lots of love,
B x

Hi there, my due date was June 5th and even though I had to go to work, I bought a cake and lit two little birthday candles for her.

If you really just want to "forget", just keep yrself busy... but in all honesty, it's better to let yrself remember and grieve than to bottle things up and have a break down a few months later.
There's no sin in remembering yr baby, no matter how you lost him or her.

I really hope that you manage to get through the day, and if you ever need to chat or vent, just give me a shout.

Love and hugs,
Evangeline xox

Well my advice would be not to fight it. Let yourself grieve that's the only way your going to heal and grow from this. It is going to hurt this year and for years to come. It will be something you will always remember, but the sooner you accept the better off you will be in the long run. I wish you the best of luck finding peace. Jessica
