Ok so i'm 19 and have just found out that i'm pregnant... well I had big suspicions and have only just done a test and accepted the result... I'm going to be a mummy.

I'm excited dont get me wrong but when I told my boyfriend a few weeks ago he ended the relationship and now wants "Nothing to do with me or the baby" as he is "not a father" and "cant handle being a father"... He too is 19.

The thing I don't understand is that the baby was totally planned. We planned to try for a baby. We tried for a baby. And about 2 weeks after we started trying he decided he didnt want to be a father anymore... Sorry dude but it was too late to decide that. hehehe.

So i'm due Late Dec. Got a scan next week to confirm my EDD (Due Date). Anyways theres NO WAY i'm having an abortion (like all his mates are trying to make me).

Hey there BigHeart...I am very proud of you for being responsible enough to not go through with an abortion, I am also sorry that your boyfriend has decided not to support you. The hard thing is that sometimes things seem like a really good idea like having a baby together, maybe you both thought that it would be a good thing for your relationship but it turns out that he has the "freedom" to walk out the door and now you are left to be a mother on your own. Well you do not have to be alone here on Standupgirl, we have been there too and you have the better end of the deal to have this precious little life inside of you, just remember that on the hard days. I know that if he does not come around one of these days that someone much better will see your worth and beauty and Stand Up to be a father and a husband for you...I guess it is always better to wait until you are married to try to have a baby but for you right here and right now you are doing what is best in your circumstances and like I said before, you should be proud of yourself for making the right choice to be a mommy!!
