Im lisa and im sixteen. I have been with the love of my life for a year now. I was supposed to start my period the nineteenth of september, but on the seventeenth i started spotting brown stuff. i took an ept test and it was positive so i went to the doctor and theirs was negative. Ive taken two ept tests since then and both were positive. I took a first response test today but it was negative. whats going on?

Hmm, that is very strange. Did you have a blood test done? If so, that was probably the most accurate.

I would have the doctor run a blood test on you sweetie.

HPT tests all trace the amount of a special hormone in your body called hCG (Human Chronic Gonadotropin). When you take home tests it just tracks what's in your urine stream. If 3 of the 4 tests have come out positive, it very well possible could be pregnancy. If they had you urinate on one of their sticks, there's might have been expired (Can you believe they have expiration dates?!?! O.o ) So I would definitely go for a blood test! It will be the most accurate.

I havent found out anything yet.. I did take another test that came out positive though. I have a doctors appointment for the sixteenth. Its the earliest they could get me in. Ugh. Now im just waiting........ I dont know how to feel..
